Life is a Maine beach ... Part 2

This week's beach is way Down East.

Gleason's Cove is located in Perry, Maine. It is a tranquil spot, where folks mostly seem to come to run their dogs and let them play in the water.

Some days, the ocean is nearly mirror calm, much like it was on the day I visited earlier this month.

The stillness can seem almost deafening at times, but only because we lead such busy, hectic lives and noise permeates our entire beings. Here, you can hear yourself think.

It will soothe your soul.

Click here for a Google map to find your way to the cove.
