It's been a crazy couple of weeks, which meant I didn't have time to post pictures from the ice storm we had.
Let's just say I am happy to go back -- in pictures only. Above and below is what I am calling the birch chandelier. It also tinkled like glass in the wind.

Near the birch tree is a big old pine. The shaded side stayed encased in ice for about three days.

Down in the forest on our walking trail was this brilliant sight.

And dripping off many of the evergreens were little icicles, scores of them.
